Albert Nieuwenhuijs

Albert Nieuwenhuijs holds a degree in technical engineering, and is employed at the Netherlands Organisation for applied scientific research (TNO) as Senior researcher. His main areas of scientific research include Critical Infrastructure Protection and communal safety and security. Albert was project leader for a number of studies, among which a study that investigated mutual dependencies and their importance for the electricity sector in the Netherlands. He has been involved in developing knowledge base platforms in the field of urban development and climate adaptation.
