Biography

Daniel Lückerath is a researcher at Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems (IAIS)’ ART department. In 2011, he received a diploma in Information Management from University of Cologne. Afterwards, he worked as a Research Associate at University of Cologne, investigating topics in discrete simulation and optimization, modelling techniques, as well as public transit systems. In 2016, he received a PhD in Computer Science from University of Cologne. Between 2014 and 2015, he worked as a visiting research associate at the School for Computing and Information Sciences at Florida International University, investigating multi modal intelligent Transportation Systems. Currently, he is working at Fraunhofer  in the EU H2020 projects RESIN and ENTRAP, investigating models, methods, and tools for risk-oriented vulnerability assessments and cost-benefit analysis.
