Senior capital markets professional with more than 25 years of experience in the convergence area of banking and reinsurance, acting as counsel and senior manager on various innovative topics, working with Munich Re Group for almost 20 years, before that with HypoVereinsbank and AMB, now part of Generali Group. Major achievements comprise more than twenty catastrophe bond issuances, several product developments in the weather derivatives/ structured environmental finance areas as well as in the resilience sector/ impact bond initiatives with public entities and (quasi-) sovereign institutions.

Law studies as well as Political Sciences and Modern history, PhD in international arbitration law on ICSID (World Bank Convention).
